Noel Brick, PhD is a chartered sport and exercise psychologist and lecturer at Ulster University in Ireland, where his research focuses on the psychology of endurance performance — how runners think, self-regulate, and stay motivated over long distances. He is the author of The Psychology of Running (with Stuart Holliday), which explores evidence-based strategies to help runners of all levels enjoy and improve their running, and Strong Minds (with Scott Douglas), which reveals how elite athletes use psychological techniques that anyone can apply to accomplish their goals.

Noel has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles and is both a BPS Chartered Psychologist and HCPC Registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist. He also walks the talk — he's completed over 30 marathons and ultramarathons, including the Marathon des Sables and the Boston Marathon.
