Lisa Jhung is an award-winning sports and fitness writer, editor, and author with decades of experience covering running and endurance sports. Her work has appeared in Runner's World, Outside, Men's Health, Shape, Backpacker, WebMD, and dozens of other publications. A former contributing editor and columnist for Runner's World and co-founding editor of Adventure Sports magazine, she currently writes regularly for Outside and Outside Buyer's Guide.
Lisa is the author of Running That Doesn't Suck: How To Love Running (Even If You Think You Hate It) (Running Press, 2019) and Trailhead: The Dirt on All Things Trail Running (VeloPress, 2015). She also holds an RRCA coaching certification.
